Are Silk Flowers For Funerals Ok?

Are silk flowers for funerals ok to use? Admittedly, there have been many times when I have pinched some stems, leaves and petals to see if they were real or not and it has been very hard to tell the 'real thing' from the 'fake'. I believe silk flowers used in funerals would not only be ok but the perfect choice. For viewings and delayed funerals especially because the flowers would look fresh and nice for a longer amount of time. They would present themselves exactly how you would want them; bright, beautiful, colorful and 'real' looking. Silk flowers are a great choice for funerals and many other occasions for this reason alone.
