Rain, Salt or Shower For Cleaning Silk Flowers

I recently went to a friends house and noticed she had all her silk flowers and plants sitting outside. "It is supposed to rain today" she said, hoping to get her silk flowers all clean. Another person says she sets them all in the shower with her and gives them a bath. Practical and logical solutions to a simple problem.

Here is another one for cleaning silk flowers; place your flowers in a plastic bag with a few tablespoons of salt and shake it up. This one I have not tried and would think it would work only if you do not shake too hard as to mess the flowers up and if you had small enough flowers to fit into the bag.
