Eco-Friendly Wedding with Silk Wedding Flowers

silk wedding flowers

Want to have a green wedding? Start with using silk wedding flowers.

The 'green' individuals might say, 'You shouldn't have a wedding at all.' We know that isn't true, it's all about making greener choices.

Silk wedding flowers might cost a little more but if you shop wisely you can accomplish having a beautiful green wedding on a budget.
"I do think it's possible" to plan a green wedding, says Whitney Davidson, a Kansas City health risk manager for Lockton Cos. and a part-time Pilates teacher says, "If you look in the right places, if you have enough time to do it and if you go into it realizing that you're going to pay just as much money, if not more."

I thought you might be interested to know that my latest book, "How To Get Married In Green: have an eco-friendly wedding without compromising on style," was published recently.

You can read more about it here:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Get-Married-Green-Eco-friendly/dp/1845282701/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1195123385&sr=1-1

...although of course the book is available on all Amazons, not just the UK version, and is in most good book stores.

I also run an associated blog where readers can post questions as comments, or email me with them, about how to make their wedding or other celebration more eco-friendly. I then respond on the blog. That's here:

With all good wishes

Silk flowers are an excellent eco-friendly wedding option. And while you are at it, you may be interested in this company called CameraRenter: www.CameraRenter.com. Instead of using disposable cameras [and all the waste that goes along with them] they rent sets of fully insured digital cameras & create a free photo/videos sharing website for you and your guests after.
